“SA Light Panel” uses an edge light type high-luminance light guide plate, “SA Light Guide”, developed by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd.. “SA Light Guide” is created by applying special fine processing to a base material, which is a Polymethyl Methacrylate(PMMA) sheet having outstanding optical properties.

Because lifetime of the LED used for edge light sources is approximately 5 times longer than that of a fluorescent lamp when used for general purposes, they require much less maintenance. The power consumption can be also reduced approximately to between a half and a fifth, thus contributing to reduced CO2 emissions and contributing to environmental conservation.

“SA Light Panel” is available in various types. Poster size specifications (B0 type - A3 type) are offered as the product’s standard sizes for both framed and no-framed types. Custom sizes are also available up to 3000mm × 1200mm (for no-framed types). Furthermore, there are two color temperatures to choose from: standard color and light bulb color. You can freely combine these sizes and colors as you like.

Because “SA Light Panel” uses “SA Light Guide” for a light guide plate, the incident light entering from the edge can be controlled, thereby providing a clear light emission plane, which generates no heat despite being extremely bright. By using “SA Light Panel”together with a SUMIPEX^® diffusion plate, various impressions can be added to the final product, such as a hard, sturdy look or soft, gentle look.
